Road Closure – Ogley Hay Road (11/5/2026)

NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 5th May 2026 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit the right turn from Ogley Hay Road, Burntwood on to A5 Watling Street in Newtown unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to properties on the length of road or is being used for police fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

The order will come into operation on 11th May 2026 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 21st July 2026.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the electricity reinforcement works which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed whichever is the earlier.
