Road Closure – Overton Lane and Coppy Nook Lane (15/1/2026)
A length of Overton Lane 20m north of the junction with Coppy Nook Lane and Coppy Nook Lane from the junction with Overton Lane to the junction of Hospital Road will be closed for repair and maintenance on 15 January 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of Overton Lane and Coppy Nook Lane in Hammerwich are satisfied that it is necessary to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that length of Overton Lane 20m north of the junction with Coppy Nook Lane and Coppy Nook Lane from the junction with Overton Lane to the junction of Hospital Road for a period
of 1 days but no more than 5 days from 15th January 2026 because of the likelihood of danger to the public during carriageway repairs being undertaken by Staffordshire County Council.
Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works and for emergency services vehicles or for vehicles requiring access to properties on the length of road which is closed.
An alternative route for traffic is available and will be signed on site

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 08:00 HOURS ON 15th January 2026 AND 16:00 HOURS ON 15th January 2026.
