Next stop Hammerwich – new bus shelter

Residents benefit from the installation of a new bus shelter on the Lichfield Road, Hammerwich.

Sited at the junction of Lichfield Road, Stockhay and Farewell Lane, it serves Hammerwich and Burntwood residents.

The shelter is funded by Hammerwich Parish Council and their thanks go to Collis of Chasetown, who worked with councillors on design, build and installation of the project.

A Hammerwich Parish Councillor said, ‘Not only are we supporting our parishioners, but we want to link in with LinkUp on-demand bus service is provided by Lichfield District Council which connects  rural villages to local towns’.
